Hemet is a hidden gem in Riverside County, southern California. This designated Tree City, by the Arbor Day Foundation, for its dedication to the local forest, is also home to the longest running outdoor play in the United States, The Ramona Pageant, California’s official outdoor play.
Enjoy the longest-running outdoor play in the country! It has been running since 1923, and is referred to locally as “The Ramona Outdoor Play,” and can be enjoyed at the open-air Ramona Bowl Amphitheater, a historic landmark and California treasure.
